Indian Coast Guard has released notification for Coast Guard Assistant Commandant Recruitment 2024.
There are 140 total posts released for the year 2024. Only male candidates are eligible for applying in these jobs. The dates for applying for Indian Coast Guard 2024 Assistant Commandant Recruitment is from 5th December 2024. And the last date for apply & form completion is 24th December 2025 till 5:30 P.M. Exam Date for Stage I is 25TH February 2025. Admit Card for Coast Guard CCGAT 2024 will get released before the exams. And exam Date for Stage II will be in March 2025.
The application fees required for Coast Guard 2024 Assistant Commandant post for all GEN/OBC/EWS category candidates is Rs. 300. For the SC/ST candidates it is Rs. 0. Payment method that candidates can use for paying the application fees include online payment using Debit Card or Credit Card or UPI or Net Banking. Offline payment is not available for this post.
The minimum age to applyfor Assistant Commandant in Coast Guard is 21 years, and maximum age is 25 yrs as on 01/07/2025. Age relaxation for this post will be according to recruitment rules of Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant 2024 Recruitment.
From the 140 total posts of Indian Coast Guard, there are 110 posts for General Duty, and 30 posts for Technical (Engg./Electrical) duty.
110 posts for General Duty are divided category-wise into 40 posts for General category candidates, 38 posts for OBC category candidates, 4 post for EWS category candidates, 13 posts for ST category candidates, and 15 posts for ST category candidates.
30 posts for Technical (Engg./Electrical) Duty are divided category-wise into 15 posts for General category candidates, 9 posts for OBC category candidates, 0 post for EWS category candidates, 4 posts for ST category candidates, and 2 posts for ST category candidates.
The Eligibility Criteria for Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant 2024 Recruitment includes the following things:
- Candidates applying for General Duty post in Coast Guardshould have Bachelor’s Degree with atleast 60 % marks in every Semester/Year.
- Technical Mechanical duty post requires candidates that have done a BE or B.Tech Engineering Degree in Mechanical or Marine or Design or Naval Architecture or Industrial and Production or Aeronautical or Aerospace or Automotive or Mechatronics or Metallurgy with atleast 60% Marks. They should have Physics & Maths at 12th Class level.
- Technical Electrical/Electronics duty post requires candidates that have done a BE or B.Tech Engineering Degree in Electronics or Electrical or Electronics and Communication or Instrumentation or Telecommunication or Power Electronics or Instrumentation and Control or Power Engineering or with atleast 60% marks. They should have Physics & Maths at 12th Class level.
