CTET Primary Level (class 1st to Vth)
- Must Completed Senior Secondary with a min of 50% marks and either completed or currently enrolled in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (under any name)
- Must Completed Senior Secondary with min 45% of marks & either completed or currently enrolled in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, as per the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002.
- Must Completed Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks & either completed or currently enrolled in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- Must Completed Senior Secondary with a minimum of 50% marks and either completed or currently enrolled in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
CTET Junior Level (class VI to VIII)
- Must Completed Graduation with either completed or currently enrolled in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (under any name).
- Graduation or Post-Graduation with either at least 50% marks, and either passed or currently enrolled in the final year of a Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
- Graduation with a minimum of 45% marks and either completed or currently enrolled in the final year of a Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE Regulations as issued time to time.
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and either completed or currently enrolled in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and either completed or currently enrolled in the final year of a 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and either completed or currently enrolled in the final year of B.Ed. (Special Education)*.
- Candidates who have successfully completed a B.Ed. program accredited by the NCTE are eligible to take the TET/CTET. Moreover, as per the TET guidelines outlined in the NCTE letter dated February 11, 2011, individuals enrolled in any teacher education program recognized by the NCTE or RCI.
- Post-Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade, and either completed or currently enrolled in the final year of a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. program.
Steps to Submit CTET 2024 Online Forms
- STEP 1: Visit the official CTET website.
- STEP 2: Click on “Apply Online” link.
- STEP 3: Fill the Online Form and note your Registration No./Application No.
- STEP 4: Scanned copies of necessary documents such as your photo, and signature and upload it.
- STEP 5: Pay the exam fee thorugh a debit/credit card or net banking.
- STEP 6: Print a copy after final submission.
