Physical Eligibility Of SSC GD Constable 2024
For Male candidates, the requirement of height is 170 cm for General, OBC, and SC categories, while it is 162.5 cm for ST candidates. All male candidates must have chest measurement between 80 to 85 cm for the General, OBC, and SC categories, and between 76 to 80 cm for ST candidates.
For Female candidates, the height requirement is 157 cm for General, OBC, and SC categories, and 150 cm for ST candidates.

Steps for SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2024 Apply Online Form
- SSC Live Photo Instructions: SSC has new updation in its application process to require candidates to upload a live photo via webcam or the official SSC app. Candidates must ensure they are looking straight ahead, with a light or white background.
- Signature Requirements: Upload a scanned signature in JPEG format (10 to 20 KB) with dimensions of 6.0 cm (width) x 2.0 cm (height) at 300 DPI. The signature must be horizontally aligned.
- Check the official notification before applying.
- Candidates should visit the SSC Official website
- Login through your ‘Registration Number’ and Password
- Choose the tab “Apply Link” and fill all details.
- Ensure you have all the necessary documents:
- Eligibility proof,
- Govt. Identification Card
- Address Proof,
- A handwritten declaration and so on,
- Scan all the necessary documents such as your photo (4.5cm × 3.5cm), signature and upload it,
- Check the preview and application fields carefully before submitting.
