UPSC Union Public Service Commission has recently released the final result for UPSC NDA 1 Exam 2024.
There were 400 total posts released for the year 2024. Both male & female candidates were eligible for giving these exam. The dates of applying in UPSC NDA I 2024 was from 20th December 2023. And the last date for apply & fee payment was 9th January 2024. Form correction & modification date was from 10th January 2024 to 16th January 2024. Exam date for UPSC NDA I 2024 was on 21st April 2024. Admit card for it got released on 12th April 2024. NDA I 2024 written exam date was declared as 9th May 2024. Final results of UPSC NDA Exam I 2024 got released on 21st October 2024.
The application fee required for Union Public Service Commission National Defence Academy & Naval Academy I 2024 for GEN/OBC category candidates was Rs. 100. For SC/ST candidates it was Rs. 0. And for female candidates it was Rs.0. Payment method that candidates can use for paying the application fees include online payment using Debit Card or Credit Card or UPI or Net Banking. Offline mode of doing payment modeisn’t available for this post.
The min. age for UPSC NDA I Exam 2024 was 16.5 yrs and the max. age for it was 19 yrs. Age relaxation for these posts will be according to recruitment rules of Union Public Service Commission National Defence Academy Naval Academy I 2024.
Out of 400 posts of UPSC NDA I, there are 208 posts for Army, 42 posts for Navy, 120 posts for Airforce, and 30 posts for Cadets in Naval Academy.
The Eligibility Criteria of Union Public Service Commission National Defence Academy Naval Academy I 2024 for variousposts has the following conditions:
- Candidates that have applied for Army officer through NDA should have passed or appearing for 12th Class from a recognized board in India.
- While the candidates that have applied for Navy, Airforce, and Cadet Entry in Naval Academy should have passed or are appearing for 12th Class with Maths & Physics as subjects from a recognized board in India.
The Exam of NDA will have 2 papers, each for duration of 3 hours. One paper is of Mathematics and other is of General ability. Both will be of 300 marks each. Those candidates that pass the written Exam they will get called for Intelligence & Personality Test conducted by SSB (Service Selection BAORD). There are 4 different SSB centres in India.
These tests will include Psychology Test, Personal Interview, and Ground Task. The candidates will have to pass screening test on Day 1, the candidates that pass stay for remaining tests that take place on Day 2- Day 4. On final day of SSB, their is a one on one conference between candidate and selectors/interviewers that have taken the SSB process. In this the selected candidates get clearance for next stage that is the Medical Test.
After the candidates pass the Medical Test, then there is a merit list made. This merit list is made based on combining the marks in Written exam + SSB Interview score + medical test. And the candidates that get name in the merit list, get selected to join NDA (National Defence Academy) & NA (Naval Academy) respectively.
